My Aunt told me this is how my grandfather learned to play this tune back in the 1890's in Copiah County Mississippi.

Love it.
Someone told me this is a french canadian tune originally called Reel De Loup (Wolf's Reel). I remember seeing a picture of an old 78 (Stripling Bros?) where it had the title in French which I thought was bizarre for the longest time.

:o) I play this tune in cross A tuning! Whoa! It's the same tune - I heard it from Bob Holt and Chirps plays it too, but your version is really neat! (You're playing in the key of G, right?)
