Basically the Cole's 1001 version of Miss McLeod's, but dressed up in Old Time ruffles and shuffles! ;^) Key of G, standard tuning.

Beautiful recording Michael. A sweet and clear tone, a nice melody- beautifully played.
Great.

Excellent version Michael! I've played a clawhammer version of this for years, and recently a friend who has recently taken up clawhammer played me a version he learned from memory of my playing. I learned a basic version on fiddle in GDGD tuning so I could play along, and yours just gave me lots of fresh ideas. The folk process in action! We call it Hop High Ladies over in our holler.
