David, Sophie will be so proud of her special tune when she's older. I listened to it earlier and was humming it while cooking. Nicely played too.

You know how it just gets in your head sometimes? I'm going to see her today. I told my sister that she (Sophie) told me she wanted me to take her on a picnic, but she wouldn't buy it. New parents... they're so overly protective!
I actually have some lyrics, but they're not done. Weird, that hardly ever happens. The lyrics part, I mean. I'm famous for not finishing them.

Oh!!!! I got to hold her today!!! She's so sweet, although when my sister was holding her, I was playing with her hand, and she pulled it away, and then... and I'm not kidding, she flipped me the bird!!! Her finger was as straight as a string, and high in the air. We laughed so hard!!! Her parents are goin to have to talk with her about appropriate behavior, I think!
