Gannet Records #12GJOT-AEAE9, recorded August 34, 1781. Original Retail Price: 3 cents--but in those days a Penny Was Still A Penny, darn it, and a body could still readily locate good hard cider for breakfast. .............FHO regular Mr. Glen Old Timer played his Peking Duck fiddle made outta Panda Tree wood and I plucked a Sears 'Sorta Good' paper-mache-rim banjo capoed at the 9th fret for good luck, you'll need it.

I have heard this tune by a different name. Can't remember the name right now, but if I do I will post it.

WHEW! After I posted it I thought, "dang what if Glenn hates it?" But I wasn't TOO worried because you emit a positive adventurist outlook in music. Hey, I could record some banjo or guitar tracks and you could add yer fiddle to 'em!...... Any fidelity loss via back-and-forth is easily solved via the boss recorder's Miracle Lo-Fi 78 rpm treatment......I also figgered you'd dig it since you liked the way that 'instant old time effect' works and thought you'd like to hear your own fiddling rendered thus......Actually I like the 'fake 78 sound' so much I'm thinking about applying it to all my recordings...no more need for Yet Another Perfect Expensive Microphone For Fiddle....plus it just plain SOUNDS GOOD....dunno why, but fiddle recordings sound good they way they first invented recording...like Leo Fender nailed it with Telecasters, why bother making any other electric guitars? So it's a birthday gift to you--Thursday was my birthday (I'm 9 now!!) and being lefthanded I do everything backwards, give other people presents on my birthday.

Janepaints, if you "wrote the weather" I'd turn to read it, just for the laughs I know I'd get... 'Course, Willie Nelson already took that job.."..blue skies smiling at me..nothing but blue skies do I see...blue bird.."---Stop write there. The blue bird done dang flew out of your painting! She was there! I swear she was! ; )
