You tell me. I have NO idea where this tune comes from. Just something's been yonder in my head for many moons. I dimly recall lyrics too: "Way down yonder in the bayou country, down around loo-eez-ee-ann." Doug Kershaw, maybe? You tell me.

Thanks, Tim. I thought as much. My ever-aging brain can't recall the name of somebody I met two minutes ago....driving, halfway to the library and suddenly realize I have no idea where I'm going or why, but can still see Doug Kershaw clear as a bell, on the TV screen--maybe Dean Martin's saturday night show?--playing songs like this, and 'Diggy Diggy Lo', of course. What a great sound Doug Kershaw had.
