Not sure of the origin of this tune, I think it might be Appalachian but I first learned it in the 1990's from a tape by the late Roscoe White entitled Arkansas Fiddling. I had forgotten all about the tune until I heard Vivian Williams play it on a video posted here. I'm doing it the Key of F and accompanying myself on guitar. Really a fun tune to play!
