when yall try to sing or interpret a tune how about just singing the damn lyrics in your natural voice. forget trying to sing with your pants hanging down on your stifle.

I don't know the name of the tune ... I only heard it once, many years ago (and fortunately taped it). I THINK the singer is Ginger Boatwright, when she was a member of the Doug Dillard band. There used to be several other similarly syncopated tunes sung by her (also with Doug Dillard) on YouTube, but when I looked for them recently, the ones I really liked weren't there anymore.
