This tune is by Gene Goforth. I got turned on to to Him by listening to the last recording that John Hartford made called "Hamilton Ironworks"and now Gene is one of my very favorite fiddlers. His CD is called "Eminence Breakdown" on the Rounder label. I hope you enjoy this tune!

Thanks for putting this recording up.
I'm also a big fan of Gene Goforth's fiddling and your recording of this tune is some of the best old time fiddling I've heard here for a while.
