That finish sure looks similar to what's on many of the Jackson Guldan fiddles. Does it have any label inside the f hole? They usually sound pretty good and fiddley once they're set up. Good luck with it!

All the labelsays is "Copy of ........ Made in Germany". But it should do the job after its back together.
