$525.00 back in 1908? That was mucho dinero back then. Just curious, what range do they sell for today on the used market?

The $525 is actually the old price calculated in today's dollars, the original price is $22.95 (bottom right). The luthier who dug up this ad for me told me that he sells nice used ones today for about $1500. I won mine on ebay for $45 which was a great deal, but I'm sure it's not worth as much as $1500. Mine has two repaired top cracks, had geared tuners added and then removed (with decent bushing repairs), and has been refinished, so I have no clue what it is worth. Sounds nice.

I have seen this is the oldest violin in my life. I think the price does not matter of such unique things uk best essays so museums always try to buy historical things to earn as they have earned a lot through those things.
