This is a one-piece back "in the white" that I bought off ebay, regraduated and then varnished using varnish that I made. I cooked pine rosin, larch turpentine, and walnut oil to make this varnish. This is something you have to do outside and away from anything that could potentially burn, since it is a fire hazard and also make lots of noxious fumes. It makes the wood grain show nicely on this genuine "Stradogenarius"!
