The big Red Dot is the collarbone and is the pivot point. The Red Arrows are the direction the weight of the fiddle follows. The Yellow Arrow shows how holding the chin lightly on the Chinrest and how the hump or bulge on the back of the chinrest stops the fiddle from falling forward.
