I've never hunted skunks, but they've ambushed me a time or two. There ain't no cure, but time!
That's ONE way of making sure nobody crouds you too close at a jam!

As a rule I don't hunt skunks either but they seem to find me. I lost a nice saddle horse to rabies he got from a skunk bite. So if the skunks come around the buildings I shoot them. I liked your comments on intonation. Lately I have been concentrating on the same thing. Like you said when its right it really resonates. Once I get that intonation thing I think I won't need to worry about "stinking" at a jam.
