Daniel,
I'm glad you posted the photos, because they caused me to notice your home page, and so then I checked out your tunes on myspace, and I really like them! Good fiddling! I'm mostly an Old Time fiddler, but....
Je parle aussi un peu de Francais, mais c'est bien longtemps depuis que je l'ai parle beaucoup- ce n'est pas tres utile ici en Californie!
Quand meme, dans un hopital ou je joue le violon les lundis,
il y a une Quebecoise, et je joue La Bastringue (et elle chante avec!),
Le Reel de St. Anne, La Chicaneuse, Le Pecheur, Le Cordonnier,
Le Reel Gaspe, et je chante "A La Claire Fontaine" pour elle.
Et aussi "Sur le Pont D'Avignon". Elle chante aussi avec ces deux chansons-la. Ce sont presque toutes les melodies Quebecois et Francais que je sais jouer!
