He's wonderful. And he's even becoming somewhat fiddle tolerant (or I've become a better fiddler!) I do, however, have to indulge him in a session of watching LOLCat videos together if I neglect him with an overlong fiddle practice . . .

No, Briggsy isn't the singer, he's the purrer, named after a Briggs & Stratton Engine. But since he was here from the beginning of my fiddle journey he bears a hatred of my fiddles that is awesome to behold.
Diva, my female tiger stripe cat, is the singer, and yes, she's been named well. She warbles along while I fiddle. She didn't come live with us until a few months ago, when I had already learned to fiddle, so she doesn't share Briggsy's hatred of it. She'll curl up in the fiddle case while I'm playing.
