Yes i have spent my last 11 summers down around the smoky mts and i write songs about some of the mountain stuff and have two popcorn sutton songs i wrote .I have a room at my house that looks like a tribute to moonshiners and popcorn is got two pics above the fire place . Great you knew who the pic was . Will post another favorite pic of him in my pics .

on tv they had a program about moon shineing and showed how they made it i think i drank some at a party the steel guitar player that worked with me. for three days we partyed. they made wop a tooly then some one poored in the moonshine man every one started to talk crazy the hole band and some firends smoked samon,rost coon, rost corn all you could eat home made beer and wineon monday they drank miller beer that all that was leftmy wife and i sleeped in my van. idon,t drink any more. but i like eatand play fiddle or guitar i like to jam i,m not very good i,ll try

Dat sure waz a purdy story .
I mostly sing songs about moonshine and have lots of songs about it . Only take an occasional nipe for medical purpose only .
Stuff like good ole mountain dew and a song called dooley and it's just dooley by the dillards (do lots of there songs) It's not tom dooley song . The dillards were a group on andy of mayberry show and they were the musical hill'billy family ( The Darlin's ) on there and they had denver pyle as there paw and a couple of the actors like him are'nt part of the real group

say its real hard to get in touch with you we have a place down here that has blue grass music between racine and kenosha wisconsin called appel holler once a week then have blue grass music its on hy 94 goes north and south go north tell you see it then get off the high way and go back on the frontage road

Sounds great but i'm in northern michigan and go straight south to smoky mountains in north carolina . It would be rough trip due to having to go thru chicago area drivemare .
