Is this sum of Peter He's work? If so should read "Professionally Antiqued Violin".

Hmmm, you know I appreciate all the folks on this site who make contributions to this forum and also offer their services through the classified or other related forums. But here Mr. He and his group are now creating memberships and then using those memberships as a front for vending their items.
I'm I way off or does this bother anyone else?

Andah, What bothers me is taking a perfectly fine violin and screwing it and it's finish up so it can be passed off as something it is'nt....OLD. In time every instrument will get it's battle scars and those obtained through play and use do not bother me at all, but the concept of abusing a new instrument intentionally is disturbing. As an antique and classic wood boat restoration person, I could never do this to my own work.

Hello Jerry, thanks for your attention. For your view, first, I am sure that you have a have positive view for perfectly fine violin. Second, for the antique violins, I can not quite agree with you about that. Why we call "antique violin"? not call "old violin" Known, they are different not only the outlook and sound, but also the price. Most of people want to get one piece of good old violin, but it is not realistic for everyone. However, people desire to not only get good sound but also like old violins' outlook. It will be perfect!!! So you see antique instruments. Different instruments have different market. Peple will be make right decision.

Nancy, I'm just an old country boy with little worldly knowlege, but only time produces an antique violin be it of great quality ...or not. Again just my opinion.

In this country the words antique and antiqued have very different meanings. While you do not seem to be placing this instrument up for sale, if you were I think you could be setting yourself up for a false advertising law suit.

Jerry, may be you had made a mistake. As you can see, the photo had been showed before two months, I haven't plan to sale it at here, only share with my friends. The violin had found right man which really like.

Yes Nancy, I can now see that it is my mistake. It is in fact, a brand new antique and is a professional since being a violin, it can do nothing else but be a violin. Just my perception that's at fault here. So Sorry
