Theo McCracken, the proprietor, has what can only be called a quirky sense of humor, coupled with an innate sense of salesmanship. The name of the shop ought to send 'em running but it doesn't. Best coffee in town, possibly in the UP.
As for the Big Lake, technically it's not IN da UP, eh, da UP is in IT!

do you get strong European flavored Coffee there also, the spoon standing straight up in the middle of the Cup ?
