The Liberty Belles are sort of the corporate arm of the Jolenes, if you will. It's just banjo and fiddle, and it's meant to be background music rather than a performance. One of our more interesting bookings was a trunk show for a boutique in Notting Hill. We were meant to play inside the shop but to lure people in we played on the forecourt outside for as long as we could before our fingers went numb from the cold. It brought the punters in and was great fun to boot. However, at one point we were mistaken for Virgin Atlantic stewardesses.
