Thnx. fer your pics. Peter. I'm working on my 6th cigar-box-fiddle. As simple as they are, they too require a lot'a work. I've made 2 regular violins from kits & they were a challenge to me. It certainly gives one respet to the luthiers. I'd never attempt one from the raw. Thumbs-up to ya.

2 I did Peter, but after thet I got lazy LOL. The one i'm working now I've carved myself ( except fer tha scroll ). My old hands aint whut they used to be.

Yeah, it does give your hands a workout. I was carving on a scroll today and my fingers and hands are tired and tingly.
