Great pic of your great grandfather playing a "potatoe bug". What year was this taken?

I believe that the old Italian mandos with the round backs were called that at one time.

Chris, have you ever noticed that everyone you know that plays music has relatives that played before them. I think music is passed in the genes. I myself have many relatives that played, all of them gone before my time, so I did'nt pick up anything directly from them, but I still have that NEED to play music. Got to be in the genes.

well, many of my old time relatives were musicians. But none of my direct relatives could be considered musicians. So. I guess that I was the one to pick up the torch. So yeah, just like you, I have the need to play. Always had it. Just came natural. So maybe it is in the genes.
