hi i am here to ask you if refinishing a violin will make the tone ugly i think i need to refinish it because its already ruined because of the furniture polish that my violin teacher recommend or is it the varnish that should be blame that not really good maybe a luthier and a violin seller told me that it wont affect my violin tone but my teacher told me that it will now i am really confused and don't know what should i do about it anymore my violin is just a copy not the real thing it is kind a valuable so just please tell me the pros and cons about refinishing my violin ?
