Just joined fiddle hangout.

i frist rtied playing fiddle in 1974. traded a banjo for fiddle.

got frustraited

traded for guitar.

started playing again in 1996 basically stopped after john hartford died.

still am interested but not sure about old or blues or bluegrass style, which one to persue. i like them all!

been playing guitar since 1964 messed around with fiddle of and on since 1974 haven't played at all since john hartford died i mostly play mandolin, i started in 1973 play in 2 bluegrass bands the 1st is midnight flyer which plays a combination of music from bill monre to emmy lou harris, vocals and harmonies being the most important "tradtition" is the 2nd we play flatt and scruggs, monroe, original songs etc old time play banjo with fiddle
