I've always said I was not musically inclined and so never really tried. I really don't know that it's true, so I've set out to prove it one way or the other. The School system I grew up in, like so many others, tried to force me to play an instrument, and I didn't react well !!! I was given a Violin and I refused to play, my Parents were put through much grief at that time. Well the years have passed, and I've always had a begrudging appreciation for the Violin, so when I decided to try some sort of an Instrument, I figured, hey!! why not the Violin? I could right that particular "sin of my past" my Parents would get a kick out of it, and I will have proved to myself once and for all, am I a musician? So far I'm having great difficulty, quite honestly the hardest thing I've ever done, I've been sticking with it, and I am getting better, so maybe someday I'll actually have somebody ask me to get the Violin out, instead of put it away :-)
