Started playin back when I was a teenager with my dad and others in my family. I put it down after high school and after about 9 years my dad was diagnosed with cancer. We were talkin and I asked him if he was disappointed in me. His only disappointment was that I stopped fiddling. So I hit the woodshed and hit a few contests last summer. My wife and sister made sure he could hear me on the phone since he wasn't well enough to come hear in person. He passed away in november and I'm trying to get motivated to really get back into it. I just want to know that he can be proud of me.
