Just got back from Dare to Be Square - West! held in Seattle this past weekend. What a fantastic time that was! Huge thanks to Charmaine Slaven, Tony Mates, and the rest of the D2BS organizing committee, sponsors, hosts, and volunteers for putting on such a great event. Tons of great picking, dancing, eating, and visiting with old friends. Bob Dalsemer was great leading calling workshops and dances. Well worth catching if you get the chance.
Now I can't wait for the Portland Old-Time Music Gathering in January and the Olympia Old-Time Music Festival in February so I can do some more picking and dancing with my non-Portland old time friends!
