Gliga vs Monroe morgan

I have narrowed it down to two violins. the monroe morgan mvf-400 and the Gliga Gem 1 both are in the same price range can anyone point me in the right direction. Also is there a big difference between strad and Gaurneri styles as far as what is better for a fiddle sound.
