Primarily a harmony singer. I play a little guitar, a little piano, a little flute. I hope to master the violin though, and that's where I'm going to focus from here on out. Even though I can play some songs already, I've decided to take lessons to learn the true fundamentals.

I am a new, adult violin student. I sing harmony with a gospel bluegrass group and would love to be able to play violin along with the music. So far, I am good at intuitively finding what notes to play, but lack the technical knowledge to really be good at it. I found some great free videos on RedDesertViolin.com and after benefiting from those, decided to enroll in their online lesson program. I am so excited! I'll give some updates on my progress. Any encouragement would be welcomed. I can't wait to start learning.
