Hey all . I posted a new video lesson on waltzes this week on my lesson site, FiddlinMike.com. This week's lesson is on how to embellish basic waltz melodies and features a waltz written by fiddle genius Billy Contreras. Billy wrote the tune and Tristan Clarridge (5-time national champ) played it at the 2009 National Fiddle Contest with some beautiful embellishments. That's the version that I'm teaching.
