Hi,
Just for viola players -- a slide rule for finding your fingering in all the keys on your viola. Apparently there aren't enough violists out there for shops like Shar or Johnson String to offer this (they do offer the violin version!) so it's pretty hard for violists to even hear about it. It's called a Finger Finder, and as I said, it's a slide rule -- you dial up the key or key signature of the tune you want to play, and it will show you the fingering in that key -- the spacing, the key notes, the arpeggio notes, and the minor key too. You can learn more about it at this link. It's good for finding your way, learning finger patterns, and practicing scales and arpeggios in a visual way in addition to reading music or working from memory. I hope you find it interesting.
