They say that viola's are especially prone to wolf tones. Does your's have one, where, and what have you/ can be done about it?

	mudbug says: 11/23/2011 2:31:17 AM Sorry to hear that F&A. What about those small thing-a-ma-bobs that get bolted on the string behind the bridge, like they use on cellos. I wonder if they make them for violas and if they work. I thought I had a wolf tone at first but it was just bad bowing or fingering on my part, getting use to the viola.
	Bart says: 2/4/2012 12:10:21 PM No wolf tones on mine. I wouldn't necessarily know up the neck, but I did have an experienced violist play it for me before purchase, and he didn't find any, either. Viola sure is different to play. I think I want a 5 string, though.

	Tommy Preston says: 4/8/2012 11:44:49 AM A shot in thte dark but if you have tonality (wolf) issues try a mute of some fashion, in my opinion a small one is best and more controlable in placement. They are not expensive either, and thats always a plus. Happy bowing!!
