Just thought I'd post the results from the PA State Championship, held the first weekend of Autumn Leaf Festival in Clarion PA (first week of October). It also includes an open mandolin, banjo and guitar competition (no age categories).

Junior Fiddle Division; 1st Davis Smith, 2nd Aubrey Pearson, 3rd Molly Smith

Teen Fiddle Division; 1st Julia Voris, 2nd Will Wachter, 3rd Ryan Sutter

Senior Fiddle Division;1st Ken Burkett, 2nd George Servey, 3rd Helen Jo McDowell

Championship Fiddle Division; 1st Cathy Pearson, 2nd Scott Pearson, 3rd Bob Sink

Guitar Division; 1st Bob Sink, 2nd Scott Pearson, 3rd Cathy Pearson

Mandolin Division; 1st Bob Sink, 2nd Scott Pearson, 3rd Cathy Pearson

I'll repost again next fall for anyone who's interested. One of this year's winners in the senior division was George Servey, a former two-time state champ from the late 1950s, when the contest was first started. He's still playing and competing in his 80s.
