Anyone know dates & location for 2012 GA Stringband festival yet? Is there a website besides Facebook?

	fiddledd says: 11/3/2011 1:44:14 PM The location will be the same as last year- Calhoun GA Cherokee Fairgrounds. The date is the 2nd weekend in May. As far as I know there is no separate website (yet, although Ive threatened to create one). :-)

	fiddledd says: 4/28/2012 9:10:57 AM Here's the latest on the String Band Festival: Saturday, May 12th, gates open at noon. Contests start at 12:30. The order for the contests is Singing, Buck Dancing, Banjo, String Bands, then Fiddle. Hopefully, all the contests will stay on time and end near 7 pm. At 7 there will be a Square Dance with a caller (yes, you can participate even if you've never danced. The caller will teach you the steps). It appears the Facebook page hasn't been updated. I'll find a list of the prize money and post it here soon.
