Hummyfan says... After years living in Sharpsburg, Maryland on a farm bordered by the Antietam National Battlefield I recently moved to Kentucky. Odd, but I've learned more tunes from western Maryland, western Virginia, West Virginia and the Appalachian counties in Pennsylvania since I moved to KY.
There's a small Kentucky school called Berea College that has a wonderful collection of downloadable MP3 fiddle tune. Field recordings from other places have been added. Now the collection is called the Digital Archive of Appalachian Music.
