Hello all!
I just posted a lesson that I think is perfect for this group. It's called "Mississippi Sawyer and how to play the shuffle stroke". Through this classic old time fiddle tune I teach you one of the most important fiddle bowings you'll ever learn.
I've uploaded the YouTube clip to the FiddleHangout at http://www.fiddlehangout.com/myhangout/videos.asp
You can watch the full length lesson and get the sheet music at FiddlinMike.com. Gold Member students get a new lesson every week for $10/month (that comes to only $2.50 per video lesson).
Please enjoy the lesson, and feel free to email me with tune requests. Happy fiddling!
Fiddlin Mike
