After twenty years of wanting to play I got my fiddle out and tuned it up. I have my first lesson today and have a fiddle workshop in a few weeks. I'm ready to stick with it this time and get over my nerves!! I am glad to be a member of this group and will keep you updated on my progress.

	cmoore says: 2/15/2012 7:17:49 PM I hope your lesson goes great! I always go to my lessons nervous, but I always leave with a smile on my face. It's so awesome to hear a tune come together at the end of a lesson! Don't forget to bring a recorder and ask your teacher to play tunes you're working on so you can hear them later.

	barnbilly56 says: 2/17/2012 6:48:54 PM Greener then the bluegrass here but working on my 4th song right now .I'm a banjo player but having string instrument knowlage helped me get started on every thing in the fiddle world and having fun with it . Always love the banjo fiddle sound together so working on both worlds . A BIG ...hey "Y"all to my fellow string scratchers .
