New use for your digital tuner

From cmoore on 11/24/2011 4:53:53 AM

When I'm listening to a tune, and I'm having trouble finding the right note sometimes I place my digital tuner near the computer and play the mp3.  The tuner moves through the notes as they are played revealing the note(s) that are giving me a hard time. It helps if you're listening to slow versions of your tunes also.

I use a Snark tuner clipped to the scroll of my fiddle with the face pointed at the bridge. It helps, letting me know just how flat or sharp the note is. I read where they have a new one with a metronome built in. 20+ dollars helps too. I like the fact that its mobile, if you have the fiddle in hand you see the face. Larry
