My wife saw some muntjacs during our last visit to England.  Apparently they are multiplying quickly as an invasive species!!!

Apologies if you are a vegetarian but .They are Absolutely Delicious! But i would need a tree seat to shoot them. as we have fairly close neighbors. And they can make a right mess of a kitchen garden . Never mind the Crows...I would Much rather eat Muntjac!

I'm sure they are good to eat.. I think the most exotic thing I"ve ever eaten is goat head..yum...I cooked one the last time my lovely wife was out of town.  Squirrel innerds  aren't too bad either..

I grew up eating squirrels and wild rabbits...both taste great but now I can't bear the thought of eating either one...lol...I feed 'em stuff I buy at the store for them. I don't even get mad at them if they steal from my garden. I'm such a wimp these days...lol. Did you ever butcher a squirrel? Man they have got weird joints ... I guess that's how come they can scamper upwards or downwards like it's nothing. When I was little squirrel and fried taters was my favorite thing to eat. Had to watch out for that awful buckshot back then...ow, the sure hurt if you accidentally chomped down on it.

Well the poultry fencing I'm talking about actually pulses so it's extra kind...it gives a mild shock (which feels awful to any human or animal) and then quits...it pulses, it's not a continuous thing. It wouldn't kill a chicken or anything else. Animals learn to avoid it because, well, for the same reason I won't dare touch it when it's on...lol...I know it won't kill me but I hate to get a shock, even a mild shock.

The old cattle wire was harsh stuff...I mean...that really felt terrible. Still, us kids would sometimes pick a long weed and touch it on the fence just to jump and laugh at how terrible it felt. It didn't kill us. Didn't even damage us...but it was definitely noticeable. Once when we were getting ready to tie out the dogs I threw dog chains out close to where we wanted them and one of the chains got hung up on the cattle wire. Believe me...none of us wanted to grab that thing...lol. Finally one of the grownups turned off the power switch in the barn so we could grab it. We knew it wouldn't kill us...but we also knew from experience what that would feel like...lol.
