Perhaps a different spell checker would improve the site? It does not recognize the term luthier, a common word.

I find it amusing.

I've never noticed one. Is the spell checker actually part of the site, or is it a function of your browser, or even your keyboard (on a phone or tablet)?

Not my browser, Google Chrome and I don't use tablets or cell phones. The checker is Web Spell Checker . It can be a plugin for Chrome, but it is not plugged into mine. This is the only place it shows up.

Interesting. I mostly use an Android tablet with Firefox and I've never seen any sign of a spellchecker. There are some odd things about this site, and the owner is responsive to some comments, but it basically is what it is. Maybe he'll see this and respond.

I dunno how y'all do it, but I can't compose a post of any length at all. If I do, the post dissappears. And that chaps me. I want to be thoughtful and take my time to compose my thoughts and not be glib. My workaround is to compose on a text editor, then cut and paste.
I only use a Samsung tablet with android.
