Hi all, the composer and performer of "Lower Mountain Suite" has passed away. (Curtis)
I am able to listen, but is it possible to download the MP3 file so I can give it to his widow and family?
Thanks
Paul

I'm very sorry to hear about Curt. He was a great part of this forum and will be sadly missed.
As far as downloading, you should be able to do it since Curt allowed downloading this piece. One way is to go to the media section of his page here, select that piece and select "download mp3."
HOWEVER I'm not sure that feature is working properly. I can't seem to download any tunes from my page either.
Maybe someone else will chime in or the site owner will see this and fix it if there's actually a problem.

Paul, I think I figured it out.
Go to the music section of the media section of Curt's page here. For "Lower Mountain Suite" there will be a link "download" in parentheses. Click it, or just select the piece and choose "download mp3" from there. Either way a mini player box will appear either outside the main player box for the piece or by itself. If you long press this player anywhere other than the time slider a drop down menu will appear, including "save file to device," Select it and it will download. This is a pretty big file, so it takes awhile, but it worked for me.
Again, so sad to hear about Curt. He was good to keep us posted about his illness.

Oh no...so sad to hear this.
His music was lovely, he had such a gift...and he was such a lovely person too.

He was.
I had the unenviable task of playing a jig at his Celebration of Life. On the trumpet. . .it did not go well LOL

So nice that it was called "Celebration of Life"...
and I'm sure Humbled by (sorry that's how I think of him) would have appreciated your music.
Hope you got the download you needed!

Sorry about this too. I emailed him a few weeks ago to see how he was doing but got no reply. He seemed a good soul.
