Google Hangouts has been upgraded to Google Chat. Access to Hangouts on mobile and on the web is no longer available.

I'm using Jamkazam for our weekly rehearsal and it works wonderfully.

Should work as well for random connection between Hangout members.

Not for the technically faint of heart, but no rocket science either.
