Today I made a comment and immediately realized that I wanted to delete after I'd posted it.. The site said I'd have to reauthenticate.. ?? I'm signed in.. I made the comment, so why can't I delete it..? This has happened more than once lately..

It's always been that way. You have to give your credentials to delete your post otherwise anyone could delete anyone's post.

I literally just typed "testing" and then deleted it immediately. Had to put in my password for the reason listed above. Looks like maybe you just hadn't logged out in a while Lee.

Same here. I wrote 'Test', hit Delete, and the password is paired with my email address, so when I confirm the latter, the password field is filled in automatically.
Lee should not have to log out to do this. Must have been a glitch/burp/fart of the system:)

Bruce, maybe I didn't need to log out but I did anyway.. I seldom am logged out..
