A few days ago I stumbled upon a group of BIAB users. I am now unable to find that group. I am even a member of the group (evidently I joined it a long time ago and have forgotten about it.)

I have a lot of music that I programmed into BIAB and perhaps some of the other members of the group would find my files useful.

Can someone let me know how to return to this part of the Fiddle Hangout?

Thank you.

Marty (martymac)

Marty, I use BIAB and Realband too. I've been using it for about 10 years now and I love it. So is there a place on this site Fiddle Handout where you can swap files if there is I'll be happy to check it out to. Jerry

Jerry, I looked but I was unable to find any part of this website that is dedicated to enabling members to swap files. The reason that I created my original message on this forum is that over the past ten years I have programmed BIAB to play many songs that I have used to play along with. It is quite possible that there are people on this website that would find these BIAB files useful to play along with also.

These songs are bluegrass, fiddle, and popular songs from the thirties, forties, and fifties. The files were created mostly by taking music from various fake books and many of them I arranged myself (after repeatedly listening to audio recordings). I entered the notes, chords, and lyrics into BIAB.

I am the reluctant leader of a group of musicians in the community where I live (Mesa, AZ). We get together once a week to play songs in our repertoire and occasionally we play at nearby care facilities. The other musicians in the group really like what I have done because we can practice together using the PDF files of the lead sheets.

If you would like to see a list of these songs -- email me at martymacaz@gmail.com and I will send you a list.

Marty
