Mousing over a picture makes it darker. I understand this is to indicate which picture we are mousing over, but darkening is rather annoying. I feel like I am being punished for moving my mouse. "Naughty Aaron. Knock that off!"
Any chance we can change the darkening to something else? Perhaps a slight enlarge/popout instead, or lightening instead of darkening, or even something old school, like a (white?) border? Or combinations thereof?

wonderful job on the new website. only saw it for the first time a couple of days ago....first class!
One question. it's best to log out of a site rather than leave it open, yes? Either I've forgotten how, or that is changed. How do I log out?

Click the little cog wheel next to your user name at the top right of the screen. A drop down will give you the option of logging out. Dunno about whether you should log out or leave it open. I'll forget and stay logged in for a day or so and haven't experienced any issues.
